Lou Strybuc started with Jack Williams Tire in 2010. He came into the company as a general service technician, and moved his way up to a Customer Consultant Associate and then to a General Manager, all within two years’ time. “I liked the company, I wanted to see how I could succeed. My manager was a great mentor who took me under his wing and helped me to move up.
This is a family oriented company; everyone here is family. That’s me being the way I was brought up. All my life I worked for family. This is just the way you work”. Moving up so quickly, Lou says that “all it’s taught me is the way I wanted to be treated. My way of looking at it is I have to treat them all the way I wanted to be treated as a general service technician. You make sure you’re taking care of the person walking through the door the same as your employees. Without either, we wouldn’t be here”.

David has been working with us since January 2019. He started in our Moosic warehouse as a front dock warehouse associate, and then moved to our receiving team.
Since then, he has enrolled in the Jack Williams Tire training program for our service technicians, allowing him to continue working a full time job while getting hands on and online courses to improve his skillset as a mechanic. “My uncle is a master tech and I want to be like him. I’m looking to make myself a better future. I have good job security here. I can always go to someone for help here, they’re very communicative and I get a lot of support from coworkers and managers”. David says he intends to stay with Jack Williams for the long haul; “I want to be an auto tech someday. Jack Williams is a great place to work for, the people I’m around support me. I feel happy here”.
